UrbanPiper’s dashboard enables Pieminister to manage orders from multiple food apps on a single dashboard, manage their menus, check inventory, analyze online sales data, and much more.
Founded by Tristan Hogg & Jon Simon in 2003, Pieminister was created with a vision to reinvigorate the humble British pie in the United Kingdom. Pieminister completes its 20th anniversary in March 2023 and celebrates two decades of delighting customers with its array of sweet and savoury pies. Each pie at Pieminister is handmade with care using locally sourced, sustainably produced ingredients and is served piping hot, creating a great experience for customers. In order to provide its customers with a great experience while ordering online as well, the brand decided to trust UrbanPiper for its delivery integrations with aggregators Deliveroo, Just Eat, and Uber Eats.

Pieminister had initially tested the UrbanPiper dashboard to receive orders from aggregators before the middleware provider built a custom integration with Access POS to meet the brand’s needs. Once that was done, and all the testing was complete, the first location, Stokes Croft, was taken live in November 2022.
While describing the partnership so far, Laura Nudd, Central Operations Manager for Pieminister said, “Since Covid, the rise in at-home delivery has increased substantially. In fact, in some of our sites, there is now a 50/50 split. Using UrbanPiper has streamlined all our operations and taken away the manual aspect of accepting orders and placing them onto our tills. We have seen increased staff productivity and minimised mistakes as all orders are received and managed in one space.”
Since taking the first location live in November 2022, UrbanPiper has been steadily adding to the number of live locations over the first quarter of 2023. By adding 2 more outlets in March 2023, all 13 Pieminister locations that cater to delivery will be live on the UrbanPiper platform.
