January 2024 Product Updates: What's New in Our Restaurant Tech Platform

This month, we're serving up exciting new features to help your restaurant run even smoother! Discover our new inventory stock alerts update, stock deduction after order acknowledgement, and how you can enable your customers to place future orders through our partnership with Zomato.

Introducing Inventory Stock Alerts

Your struggle with ingredient stock-outs is now a thing of the past! Now you can set a minimum stock level for your ingredients in the stock levels module. When your stock reaches or falls below the minimum stock level, you will get a notification and your item status will be updated. 🔔

Low Inventory Stock Alerts are part of Prime's comprehensive Stock Automation Module. To enable this Module, reach out to us at support@urbanpiper.com

Once your stock automation module is enabled, navigate to the ‘Stock levels’ tab within each of the ingredient’s settings and simply set their ‘Critical Stock Level’.

Stock Deduction After Order Acknowledgement ✅

We know how challenging it can be to manually update your stock levels in case of order cancellations. That's why we have revised our stock deductions to occur only after you acknowledge an order, rather than solely after order placement in your online order tracker. This way, you can avoid unnecessary stock reductions, and align your inventory management with your kitchen operations. 🍽️

UrbanPiper Now Supports Future Orders for Zomato📱

Exciting news! 🎉 Through UrbanPiper’s integration with Zomato, you can now allow your customers to effortlessly schedule future orders through the Zomato app for your restaurant. Your customers can now conveniently pre-order meals in advance for specific dates and times to avoid last minute rush during festivals and events. 📅🍔 At your end, the flow will be exact same as any other Zomato order.

Support Details for Delivery Partners in your Order Tracker📞

We understand how frustrating it can be to search for support information when you need it the most! Now you can easily access the latest support information for all prominent delivery partners in the UK, including Uber Eats, Deliveroo, and Just Eat, in one place. 💻

To access the updated support information, simply go to the Order Tracker and click on the 3-dot menu. Select Support and you’ll be able to see their support details, including links to the help center, phone numbers, and email addresses. 📧 Check out the updated support info in your Order Tracker today!
